Other memories from my Erasmus, part I: my arrival to Bergen

What follow is, what I expect to be, the first of a series of supplementary posts about written in the 2013 summary. I’ll start with my trip and first day in Bergen.

My arrival occurred the 2nd of August, 2012. It was a flight with KLM airline from Barajas T4, in Madrid and a long layover in Schiphol, Amsterdam. I have to say that it was a nice airport, in my opinion. When I arrived, at night, the place was very quiet. A young girl was peacefully sleeping in the waiting area, someone else resting in the comfortable armchairs and airport staff.

Trip to the Obarenes Mountains Natural Park

In December I was in Burgos, and the last day before going back to Cullera I made a trip by the north of the province with some friends. It was a one-day trip that came out of nowhere the previous day, as a recommendation of a friend’s relative, in which we all agreed. The destination was the Obarenes Mountains – San Zadornil Natural Park, in the frontier between Burgos and Álava.

2013 – A photographical summary

2013 has been a year marked, above all, by my one-year Erasmus in Bergen. A year with very good experiences that I will try to summarize in this post. First of all, I have to say that  my memory is terrible and I remember most of the things because I have one or several photos of the moment. So I might be wrong sometimes or I could forget important events I don’t remember. If that happens, you’ll have to forgive both me and my head for the oversight. On the contrary, I’ve omitted a lot of experiences aware of it, since they don’t coincide with the issue of this post. That doesn’t mean they haven’t been important to me, simply, it’d be impossible for me to tell everything.

Thinking

A new year, a new blog

To start the year, I’ve decided to publish this blog and start it with a reflexion.

It’s unbelievable how fast the time pass by. It’s already 2014. On one hand, it seems like yesterday when I was living in Bergen, on the other hand, everything seems far away.

I can affirm that, despite the bad times, it has been the best year of my life. And I say this, mainly because I’ve discovered a whole with photography, and I’ve known the pleasure of traveling, knowing places and meeting people. And what’s the most important is that it has been a year that has helped me to rethink what I really want to do in my life and what is not.
